Catherine Tambasco

A partner in the firm, Catherine Tambasco specializes in family law, having represented hundreds of clients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties since she began practicing in 1987. Catherine relocated from Upstate New York to New Jersey for her studies, earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology and social work at Georgian Court College. After receiving her degree, Catherine worked as a social worker for the Division of Youth and Family Services, changing the lives of many families and children throughout her nearly seven year tenure.

In 1987 Catherine earned her law degree from Seton Hall University, and took her first position as a Law Clerk in the Ocean County Superior Court, Family Law Division for the Honorable Robert A. Fall, J.S.C. Shortly thereafter, she became a partner in the firm now known as DeNoia Tambasco & Germann.

Catherine is now a member of the Ocean County Family Law committee and is an early settlement panelist for the Ocean County Superior Court.

Catherine’s background as a social worker has primed her to help her clients through the emotional hardships that come with divorce, and her extensive litigation experience enables her to obtain the equitable share her clients deserve. Her unique personality allows her to both empathize with and empower her clients as they move through this very difficult time in their lives. Additionally, Catherine’s experience as a mediator and an advocate through countless negotiations has allowed her to settle the vast majority of her cases amicably.

Catherine’s stellar reputation as an Ocean County divorce lawyer is second to none. She is experienced in all aspects of a divorce including custody, alimony, and equitable distribution, and has a thriving referral-based practice out of her Toms River, New Jersey office.
